Q.

Development of the nose (3 year old boy)

Nose still looks like that of a baby, as if the nose bone hasn''t grown at all. Mother in Law worried it might be some kind of sindrome. Is this normal? This is my second child, both were breastfed for a year and I know the nose looks like that to help breastfeeding, but develops later on.

I am not certain from your description here exactly how your son's nose appears. Does it seem that the bridge of his nose has not developed and his nose appears to be flat as a result? If you are concerned about your son's nose appearance it would be best to ask an ENT specialist to see him and to decide if this is normal.
