Q.

Deselex

Hi Dr,
My little girl of 2.10 m is on Deselex but i def. think it makes her a little more " aggravated"  and short tempered than usual (not too bad though) but it seems to be really working as when her nose runs it doesnt seem to go straight to her chest - why would this be? Would the deselex then dry it up or is it a blocker / preventer? Also why does it affect their mood? Also does it make them more tired? Thanks in advance for your helpful response..

I have answered part of your question in your post above. All antihistamines may occasionally have the side effect of causing anger episodes in children. If Deselex is helping her nasal symptoms then she probably is an allergic little girl.Deselex is the least sedating of the antihistamines.
