Q.

deodrant for kids

MY daughter is 5 years old and we live in the middle east.Its quite hot and she sweats when she is active...sometimes she smells a few hours after a shower and i used powder under her arms but doesnt always help.Do u think i should start letting her use deodrant or is it too early.Could it be a sign of something else?I dont usually see kids deodrants on the market so can i opt for adults deodrant?Please advise

The real question is why does your 5 year old daughter have this problem at her young age? Underarm odour is usually a sign of early puberty. As your daughter is only 5 years old she is obviously far too young to to be entering puberty and this is called 'precocious puberty'. She should be seen by a paediatrician. In the meantime you can use a low allergy, alcohol free deoderant fo her.
