Q.

daycare

Hi

i am finding it hard to beleive that people tell me that my 3 year old will have a problem at school because she attended day care late. actually they say from 1 years a child sbrain should be stimulated and shape her future.
i went to creche at about 6 months and i am bot that brilliant, her father didnt go to creche at all but he is so bright and he is so brilliant, and actually studies mathematics.
tell me doc if this is really true.
does creche stimulate a childs mind for the rest of their lives?
and i was also told that they need to catch germs from creche to make their inmmune system strong?
what actually is true here

There is no advantage for a child in going to a creche. A child is always much better off at home with his or her mother in the first 2 to 3 years.Your child will learn much more from you as well. Your husband is living proof of this. In many cases children at creches battle through the winter months catching one cough and cold after another.

My children are A students today, All of them stayed home with me until 3 years old. I did a better job than any school /creche could do. My children were reading and writing before they went to grade one
