Day Sleeps

My baby girl is 8 months old and we are having a hard time getting her to take morning and afternoon naps. This is starting to become a problem at her daycare as she disrupts the whole class by not sleeping.
What could be the reason for her not wanting to sleep during the day?

A baby of this age should definitely be sleeping during the day. It is possible that something is keeping her awake at the creche, possibly the room is too hot or the light is too bright or there is too much noise. Is she taking her feeds at the creche as she may be hungry? Other possibilities such as a blocked nose or silent reflux are unlikely as I assume she sleeps well at night.
