Q.

Daughter''s behaviour

Hi Doc,
My daughter is 2 years old and she is very stubborn and cries all the time. She was never a cry baby when she was young she only started now. When she is angry or want something she bits herself. Is this normal?

Your daughter has reached the 'terrible two's' and this sort of behaviour is common at her age. She seems to be having temper tantrums. It is important to spend quality time with your little girl, but she must understand that you mean what you say when you tell her to stop behaving badly. Children of this age love to have an audience especially when they start with a tantrum. When she starts with her tantrum leave the room or take her to her room and close the door. Do not let her out until she is quiet.
