daughter &  Thrush

Hi Doctor - can a 4 year old get thrsh,
my LO has got terrible thrush she always complain that her vagina is painful when i check there is nothing, the urine is fine i give her vermox incase its worms.

i took her to 3 specialists and gps they dont see anything but sometimes she cries that its painful,

what can i now do

Your daughter has been seen by 3 doctors and no candida infection was seen. Her urine is normal and you have treated her for threadworms.She may be reacting to bubble baths if she has these as this changes the normal acidity which protects the vagina against infection. Give your little girl a good probiotic for 10 days and see if this helps her.
