Dear Prof

I just read in one of the earlier posts about the omega 3 supplements. Why was it mentioned that the supplements should not contain omega 6 and 9?

Thanks

Your body makes its own omega 9 so you do not need to supplement it at all. Omega 6 is found in many foods eaten daily including milk and eggs.Lately there has been some concern that too much Omega 6 in the diet may be harmful to the body. It remains important to supplement with Omega 3.
