Q.

Crying Toddler

Hi Doc

My son of two and a half old, has started creche in the beginning of Jan. Feb he started getting colds and flu and I bought some immune booster and cought syrup over the counter, but still having running nose with green mucus and cough. Lately he started crying for things or to be hand held all he time, and gets up inthe night and cry for hours on end.

I dont know if I should take him to the doctor, cos he cry a lot and the cough is not getting better. He eats better since he is at creche
but he' s getting thinner. Is therea any problem?

Your little boy appears to be unhappy at this creche and he is already showing the signs of having problems with frequent infections-this is the so-called 'creche syndrome'. Imagine the problems you will have in the winter months.Give him Viral Choice Junior to boost his immunity and use Salex nose drops twice a day every day to clear his nose. If he does not settle down it would be worthwhile keeping him at home this year.
