My 16 month old boy got sick after being in creche for three days. He landed in hospital a week after with croup &  tonsillitis.
Do I take him back..or could this has been less severe if he has not gone.. class currently 22 children...I am thinking of a smaller group something like a playgroup or am I overreacting? ( I am only sending him to creche because of I think he needs stimulation)

Your son certainly does not need to attend a creche. He has already been ill after attending for only a short time. He will enjoy being part of a small playgroup.

sorry to butt in, but he needs to build immunity to all the bugs floating around at creche, i think it can take up to about a year hey.

All kids are basically constantly sick and no matter the size of the class he will still get sick.

The only way for their systems to get stronger is for their bodies to fight the bugs cause then they have immunity toward it.

i have the same thing with my 15 month old daughter now. But perseverance

Also i have started giving her herbal mutis - septoguard (natural immune booster), respitron - for respiratory boosting and then get tissue salts for other things
