Q.

Creche

Hi, Doc

I have a 2 year old daughter and considering of sending her to creche for half days 3 times a week. I am 36 preg. and we are concerned about her catching something at creche and bringing it home before and after giving birth, thus with all the illnesses going around. As 1st there was the issue of Swine flu and more recently measels. I have a nanny currently looking after. She has had all her vaccines. What is the recommended age for sending a child to creche.

There is no recommended age for sending a child to creche and there seems to be no reason for your happy and healthy little girl to attend a creche. There are other alternatives at her age such as play groups. Our Forum members are sure to give you good advice.
