Hello Prof

I''ve got a 2 week old daughter whenever she feeds she gets crampy and she will fold herself and cry, there is also some noise/sound from her tummy when she swallows milk, she would most of the time stop feeding when that sound happens and fold herself and cry. She''s taking S26 only, she does brings up winds easily after a feed so I''m not sure what this could be. My elderst whose now 2 years was lactose intolerant could this one also be? Or what could be happening with her?

It is very likely that your newborn daughter is also lactose intolerant. She is probably a little too young to be having colic so soon and lactose intolerance is a strong possibility. Try her on a lactose free formula such as NAN LF. If she cannot tolerate the new formula either, she will need to go on to a soya formula such as Isomil1.
