This may not be cradle cap in a child of this age but may be a fungal infection called tinea capitis. Please ask your clinic sister or doctor to see her.

Hi kar, my son had sever cradle cap, it was terrible and annoying, so I can definitely relate. I used " Adco Dermed Shampoo"  which you dilute in a bit of water and it worked like a bomb and its inexpensive.

Try to use a bit of oil on her hair - coconut oil or some olive oil. let it soak in and soften the cradle cap and then carefully comb it out of her hair. it may also be that you are not rinsing the shampoo off completely when washing her hair and therefore the soap causes a build up. else take her to your paed and he' ll give you a script for medicated shampoo to use - be careful with the amount though.
