Cow' s Milk

My son is now 10 months - and after struggling with formulas, I switched him over to cow' s milk. So far he has been doing great - except at night he does not sleep through, and wakes up every night at 3 o clock....screaming. Then he only sleeps again if he drink a bottle of tea. How many bottles of milk should he drink during the day - he loves his rooibos tea, and drinks about 2 - 3 small (125ml) of tea during the day. What could also be the cause for the waking up every night at the same time? He has 4 teeth already - could it be teething. He is now on cow' s milk almost a week.

Your son may be teething but this is probably not the reason for his waking up at 3am. He may be hungry then and this wakes him. He should still be drinking at least 3 bottles of milk now and be on a full mixed diet as well. Of course the tea does not make him feel full it only satisfies his thirst.
