cow' s milk

morning,
my daughter is 11 months and i have just put her on cows milk (she loves it). i see you advise many mothers to use fresh milk instead of long life milk. what is the reason for this?

There is probably no real problem with using our local UHT fullcream milks. However there have been some concerns regarding iron absorption and a report from NZ about a possible link between UHT milk and diabetes in some young children.
