Your baby is very likely to have a problem with reflux. As she is still very young and coughs during her feeds at times this means that she may be breathing in very tiny amounts of her feed which is refluxing back up her food pipe [oesiphagus]. It is important that she is examined and treated by a apediatrician.

Not the Dr - just want to know if she has a runny nose or flu like symtoms? My little guy used to do that because of the phelghm that would run down the back of his throat and then when the milk went down he would start coughing and vomitt all over the place - it was projectile! I freaked out and took him to the nurse who told me it was the phelghm - it only happened in the morning or at his night feeds (After he had been lying down) they told me to give him smaller amounts of feeds. Check the and see if any phelghm comes out?
