Cough won' t go

Hi there,

I took my 2yr 4mth boy to the doctor as he was coughing a lot at night. He was given Orelox and Flemlite. It is now two weeks later and he is still coughing. My husband and I both have post nasal drip, I think from the pollution in the air. My son only seems to cough when lying down, so I think it is also post nasal drip.

Is there anything I can give him for this?

Thanks for your time.

It does appear that your son has a post nasal drip problem which is causing him to cough. The best treatment for him is to use Salex nose drops twice a day to clear his nose. Keep on using the Salex drops until his nose is clear and his cough has disappeared.
