Q.

cough and runny nose

Hi Doc,

My baby is 13months and I am supposed to take him for his chicken pox and hep A vaccine tomoro. He has a runny nose and developed a cough last night which sounded very hoarse with stubborn phlem. Can I still take him for his shots?

No, your baby should not have his shots done while he has a cold. You can take him as soon as he is better.
