Your daughter probably had a cold which may have caused a sinus infection and also affected her chest causing bronchitis. She was given antibiotics to help to clear the infection. It now sounds as if she has a post nasal drip which causes her to cough when she lies down. The postnasal drip is probably still due to sinus infection.Use a Sterimar nasal spray twice daily to clear her nose. Also give her Mucospect 5ml 3 times a day for 5 days to help her to get rid of the excessive amount of mucous in her chest and sinuses.
