Hi Doc!
The little man (19MNTHS)has had a cough for the past 2wks, first a dry one, i gave mucospect to loosen up the chest, now seems like the cough is worst, specially at night, but during the day too, and it lots of slyme on chest. You can actually see when he coughs, the slyme comes up to his mouth and see how he keeps it there and then swollows it back. Last night he vomit once so much he was coughing. What would the next step be to treat this cough?
Thanking you

It sounds as if your little toddler has developed whooping cough. This is the way this illness starts off. This cough is very difficulty to treat, but if treatment is started early then the illness lasts for a much shorter time. Please ask your doctor to see your son and tell the doctor that your son has whooping cough.

Oh, and he still has the runny nose, not so much dry anymore, but he snores at night, cos there''s always mucus. I use the humidifier as you suggested and the salex drops.
