Your little girl almost certainly has whooping cough. Her symptoms which you descibe so well are typical of whooping cough. This illness usually lasts for about 3 months. The cough gradually gets less and less severe and the vomiting stops. Treatment has to be given early on in the illness to be effective. It is now too late for this. Cough mixtures do not help at all. You can try giving her Aterax Syrup 2.5ml at night to help her to sleep better and to reduce the coughing spells.
