Q.

Cough

Hi, doc
My LG had coughing problems since she was born( 4months now) . a month never passes without taking her to to the doctor. two weeks back I took her to Pedratrician, X-rays where done, and everything seems ok but the Doc prescribe Inhalers, Med for sinice, the list was long. The question is can a doctor say my LG has asthma, even if she doesn' t have breathing problems, no fever, and other signs of asthma. I don' t want my child to use to inhealer at such a tender age.

What is needed here is a proper diagnosis.I am concerned that your baby has been coughing since birth. It is most unlikely that she has asthma. Please consult a paediatric pulmonologist so that a proper diagnosis can be made.
