Q.

Cough

My Lo is 15 months old and had a terrible cough the last couple of days. She is currently on Singualair Sprinkles daily for possible Asthma. Her Doc said her cough is just lots of mucous but there is no infection. He has prescribed 5ml Venteze/Mucospect Mixture. I have a warm humidifier on in her room at ngiht.
Her cough doesnt seem to be getting better. What else can i give her or should i just give time ??

Your baby has a viral chest infection. This is probably an illness known as bronchiolitis. She is on the correct medicines for this illness and it will take at least 5 days or longer before she is over the worst of the symptoms of this illness.
