Q.

CONTINUESLY URINATING

Dear Dr,
My son (2 and a half years old) started a week ago to urinating every 5 minutes. It just started suddenly, MCS test came out normal, and he doesn' t complain about any pain. He suddely wakes up 5-6 times at night to go to toilet, where he usually slept through. Must I get worried or test for something else? It is very tiring for both of us. Please help

There does seem to be a problem here. A urinary system infection is an important possible cause but you say that the MCS is normal. Next it is important to exclude diabetes as a possibility. Please ask your doctor to test your son's urine to be sure that he does not have diabetes.
