Constipation in 2 months old babies

Hi my baby is 2 months and 1 week old, as of the last week she has not been passing stools but peeing regularly. My baby is on 90% breast milk &  10% formular feed. How long can a baby go with out passing stools?

There is a problem here. The longest period a baby usually can go without passing a stool is 2 to 3 days at the most.If your baby is on mostly breast feeds it is unusual that she is so constipated. It may be the formula which is causing this constipation. Try using an infant glycerine suppository to help her to pass a stool. Change her formula to Lactogen1.If She still does not pass a stool or remains constipated she must be seen by a paediatrician.
