My 3 month old doesn''t pass stool for 4 - 5 days @ a tym.
She is only on breastmilk and a little warm water. Is this ok.
Sometimes she gets crabby. Also when is a good time to start cereals.

It is very unusual for a purely breastfed baby to become constipated. Breast milk has several important constituents including a hromone called motilin that usually prevents babies from becoming constipated while being breastfed. Is your baby passing hard constipated stools or are her stools soft and yellow? Some babies simply pass stools less often than others, although more than 3 days between passing stools is unusual. You can continue to give your baby a little warm water to drink from a bottle. Also massge her tummy, rubbing very gently in a circular fashion outwards starting from around her bellybutton. Giving her a warm [not hot!] bath may help as well. When you change her nappy apply a little vaseline around her anus. All of this should help her. You can start her on cereals when she is 4 months old.
