17 month old suffers from severe constipation. After an enema was necessary a month ago formula was changed from Nan to Nido. Is it possible that she is allergic to wheat?

It is unlikely that your little daughter's constipation is due to a wheat allergy. She may benefit from being taken off a milk formula and changed to a soya advanced formula such as Isomil3. Do not give her any cheese. Make sure that she eats plenty of fruit and fibre rich food such as Weetbix and brown bread. She can have soya yoghurt once a day. She should also have diluted fruit juice once a day and plenty of water to drink.
