Q.

Constipation

Hi,

What are the most natural things to give my boy, he is 22 months old. He had diahhrea for quite some time, managed to get it under control now he seems constipated.

What can I do to help him besides medication.

Always the best thing to do for a constipated child is to remember the 3 F's-Fluid, Fibre and Fruit. So give plenty of water to drink and also diluted fruit juice once a day, lots of fibre-rich foods such as Weetbix and wholewheat bread and as much fruit as your son wants to eat, especially the lovely summer fruits now available.
