Constipation

Hi doc

What can I use for constipation in a toddler please.

This is avery common question. The most important thing is to be sure that your toddler is not drinking too much milk and that he/she is on a good mixed diet with plenty of fruit, fibre and fluids especially water and diluted fruit juice once daily. You can try a children's glycerine suppository once daily for 3 days just to help to clear out the constipated stools. If he/she does not improve try Duphalac 5ml daily for 2 weeks.
