Paediatrician

Babies of this age should not be constipated especially if breast fed. If your baby is being breast fed he/she must be seen by a paediatrician to exclude important causes of constipation in this age group particularly a condition called Hirschsprung's disease. If your baby is being formula fed constipation is usually due to the formula. Changing the formula makes all the difference. If your baby is being formula fed try Lactogen1 instead.
