Q.

Constipation

Dear Doc

My 9 month old daughter has exzema, and I was advised to switch her formula from regular NAN to NAN HA. I' ve noticed that she seems quite constipated lately - could it be related to the NAN HA?

Purity prunes seem to help, but is this the solution?

Thank you.

Your daughter has developed constipation which may well be due to the NAN HA. If her eczema is better it would be best for her to stay on this formula. Giving her prunes is a natural way of dealing with constipation.
