Q.

Constipation

Hello Doctor.
My daughter is 27 months old and hasnt had a dirty nappy for 3 days and i am concerned about her constipation (she usually passes daily)
Can i give her Duphalac syrup to help ???

If this is a once off problem you can simply use a single paediatric glycerine suppository.If this does not help it would be a good idea to put her on a short course of Duphalac syrup twice daily for 5 days.

Duphalac is natural, so yes you can give it. My pead said I can use as much as is needed to help my little girl.

I used 5ml a day when she was 6 months old.
