I presume that you have started solids by now with cereals and fruit for your baby. Some babies become constipated on certain formulas and it is worthwhle trying him on a formula such as Lactogen2 to see if this helps with his constipation.

My son was born constipated - he is now 3 - someone gave me a website name - entrezpubmed.com - there i found the solution to constipation - magnesium defficiency - for the past week i' ve given him half a capsule of magnesium citrate with B6 - I haven' t had a problem since!

My first choice: I give probiotics daily when my baby get constipated. It really helps but can be costly! My second choice: Purity' s prunes.
