Q.

Constipated baby

My LG is 5 and a half month old and she is severely constipated. She had thrush and was on Nystacid and Mycostatin for 2 weeks, then Dr. gave her Dactarin &  Dactocort and she' s been very constipated for the last two weeks. I have been giving her Milk of Magnesia, doesn' t seem to be working. What can I do?

The cause is probably your baby's formula which you do not mention here. Change her formula to Lactogen1 and see if this helps.Use a single infant glycerine suppository to help her to clear the constipated stool first before starting her on the Lactogen1.
