My baby is 9months old. She is very fussy with food but enjoys eaating her baby rice cereal. She is also breastfed. I find that she gets constipated because of eating too much cereal. When she does poo its green in colour. Is this normal? Sometimes its hard poo &  sometimes its a soft poo depending on wether she''s constipated or not. Please help!!! I''m quite worried.

It is always unusual for a breast fed bay to be constipated.Rice cereal is a good choice and is unlikely to be the cause of her constipation, but do change this to a maize cereal to see if she improves. Also make sure that she gets fruit and vegetables in her diet. She will enjoy some water and dilute fruit juice as well now.

Its probably from the iron added to the cereal - it definitely makes poo green and can lead to constipation. Try to encourage her to eat more fruit, and give her water to drink with meals (cooled boiled water is fine).

The breastmilk should help with the constipation though.
