Q.

Constipated

I have a six month old baby boy. He seems to be constipated alot. He will have a stool and then the next day he will be fine. I had to put him on solids for reflux when he was 4 months. His tummy has only been like this for the last few weeks. He is also teething. Will that have something to do with it?
He is still on 5 months purity.

I am not sure about the time when your baby started becoming constipated. Also are his stools hard or are they of normal consistency and he passes them every second day? This may be quite normal if his stools are normal. If they are hard this may be due to his present diet. Is he eating the fruit? If the problem started before he was put on solids then it may be his formula that is the cause. Changing him to Lactogen 2 may help him.
