Hello doctor

My boy is constipated and someone advised me to use liquid paraffin as it will help. Is it okay to use that?

Liquid paraffin is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.Your son's diet is vey important with plenty of water, fruit and fibre.Rather use an infant glycerine suppository once or twice. If this does not help then try Duphalac or another safe stool softener. Speak to your pharmacist.
