Q.

Constant high fevers

hi there

I don' t know what to do anymore with my daughter.

She is 15 months old, and suffers constantly from high fevers, they are never below 39.5 and yesterday spiked to 40.2. She has a constant streaming nose that sometimes gives off green mucus, she has a terrible cough where sometimes she can' t seem to catch her breath, she has gunk coming out of her ears but yet no one can find anything wrong.

We had her at the ENT on monday, he said her grommets are intact and dry and can' t see anything wrong with her ears.

She was at the Pead yesterday who said he can' t find anything wrong, her chest is clear, her nose is a bit red but otherwise he says he can' t find anything wrong with her.

I don' t know what to do anymore, how can she have a fever of 40 and nothing be wrong?

How can her nose stream and cough so badly but nothing be wrong and her chest clear.

I lost my son at the age of 15 months in 2007. I also took him to the docs saying something is wrong something is wrong - everyone kept saying he is fine noting is wrong, not even a week to the last appointment he died.

Please Dr can you give me your thoughts and ideas on what i should do about my daughter and to get her healthy again

Regards

Tammy

This is a very difficult problem as your son is obviously sick yet his doctors cannot find a cause for his high fever. He must have a second opinion as you must have a proper diagnosis. This must be done ASAP.

oh forgot to add, she was on constant streams of antibiotics for incase something is brewing - it doens' t help

i have therefore gone to seek herbal help, she is on a daily dose of respitron, septogaurd and tissue salts for mucus

i' m really reaching the end of my tether
