Q.

concussion 9 yr old

my 9 year old daughter fell off her bicycle, hit her head &  was concussed. the initial reaction was vomiting, drowsiness &  a severe headache. our gp said to monitor her for 6 hrs. she appears fine but still complains of slight headaches, it' s now 4 days on. is this normal or should she have a ct scan?

I am very worried about your daughter. She had very significant symptoms following her fall. I would not like to just dismiss them as symptoms of concussion. As she is still complaing of headaches I strongly advise that she have a CT scan done.
