This kind of concussion injury is common in children after a fall in whuich they hit their head. In spite of the slight brain swelling noted on the Cat scan, which will only be temporary, your son was normal in all respects and is playing normally. In particular there were no warning signs that would alert you about any serious problems. Your son can be expected to make a full recovery and this should only take a day or two to happen.
