Q.

Concerned Mom

Hi

My son is just over 22 months, for the past week he has not been eating as usual. He would take two spoonfuls of cereal or any food for that matter and turn his head away and that would be all for the whole day, although he does have liquids throughout. I' m not too sure if he is teething again, as he usually gets a runny tummy when he teeths. He is a very active boy and he is still so energetic even though he is not eating.
I am very concerned???

Your son is probably not teeething now. He may have an illness that is causing him not to eat such as a tonsil infection or possibly an ulcer in his mouth. As he has suddenly stopped eating you should take notice of his refusal to eat. Please ask his doctor to see him.
