Q.

concealed penis

hi Dr. our 14 month old was circumcised at birth and there is still a lot of skin at the end. we thought that he wasnt circumcised properly but i have been researching and think he may have a concealed penis. it is quite small and he has those fat glands at the base and when you push it his penis comes out more. when he is cold his penis almost dissappears does this problem usually resolve itself? should we be worried?

Paediatrician

This is very common and should come right fairly soon.It is more common in boys who are a bit overweight. If you are still concerned when he is 2 years old please take him to be seen by your paediatrician.
