Q.

Comment about baby sling pls

Hi Doc. I' ve been asking other moms what they think about that new baby sling that is on the market now.
From a doctors view, what do you think about it? Is it safe and healthy for baby?
I had a jeep carrier with my first baby but didn' t use it once because it didn' t fit well on me and I thought it was too hot to carry baby around like that. The day he was born it was 41° C where we live. That was in February.
Now I want to buy a sling for the second one who will be born end of September. Can baby get too hot in a sling?

The new slings are better than the earlier products. It is a good thing for a baby to be in contact with their mother's body. This gives them a sense of security and comfort.
