Red-green colour blindness is quite common especially in little boys. Colour blindness is usually inherited so if you have someone in the family who is colour blind this makes the possibility of your son having red-green colour blindness more likely. He is certainly very clever to be able to identify so many colours at 2 years, but he is quite consistent in calling red 'green' What is certainly confusing is that he will correctly select a red block when asked to do this. He is still too young to have the proper tests done for colour blindness but being so smart he should be able to have these done when he is about 3 years old.
