Q.

Cold

Hi

My 3 years old son keeps getting a running nose every few works and he does not go to a creche, so he is every two weeks taking rinex or dimetapp etc, what could be causing this, in some cases a cough, post nasal drips starts shortly after?

Paediatrician

This is probably not a cold at all but rather a nasal allergy which is called allergic rhinitis. Please ask your paediatrician to test him for allergies and to treat him correctly. Do not give your son Rinex and Dimetapp for long periods.
