Childhood Diseases

Good day,
I have a question regarding my 8 month son that has had a cold for the last 3 weeks with no improvement in sight. (Has been in creche since 6 months.)
No fever was involved and we used Prospan and Iliadin on him for a week(Dr presciption). There was no improvement and we started treatment with a physiotherapist for 6 days. We stopped this as we are afraid of continuing with this treatment for too long a period. Still can' t see any improvement though physiotherapist says phlegm on chest is less. Each night we use a humidifier in his room with a bit of Vicks in.
Is this good or bad? Should we rather get a nebuliser? Dr said humidifier was good enough. I don' t want my baby ending up in hospital with pneumonia. (My son has grade V kidney reflux.)
Thanking you in advance for any advise.

You need to clear your baby's nose by using Salex nose drops twice a day. Also use a probiotic to boost his immunity, such as Reuteri Infant drops 1ml daily for a minimum of 10 days. You do realise that attending the creche is part of the pronblem and the winter months lie ahead.
