Q.

CLINGING BEHAVIOUR ETC

Many thanks for the advice you have given me about my son. I married my British husband when he came out to SA last April, but our relationship has subsequently broken down. He has only send money twice for his son. I am told that as he is in the UK I have no recourse regarding getting maintenance. Do you know if this is true?

Your ex-husband remains responsible for the welfare and maintenance of his son wherever he may be living in the world. Please speak to a social worker.
