Q.

Circumcision

My son is 7 and a half years old and i want to take him to get circumsized. People are saying he is too old now and i should let him be and telling me of complications that could arise and is rather scary.
How safe is it to take my son at this age, is it advisable and what are the chances for complications? Please help as i am really confused.

Circumcions are usually only done in children of this age or indeed any age for sound medical reasons. The operation itself is regarded as a minor operation. You will need to see and to discuss this matter with a urologist.

Your son is in fact too young for this. Leave him be and allow him to decide when he reaches adulthood. It is after all his boy, he should make this decision for himself when he can give informed consent.
