Circumcision, 19 months

My son is 19 months, and we would like to to have him circumsized. Is winter a good time or it doesn''t really matter? Is it advisable at this age?

This operation is usually only done if there is a good medical reason for it. If it is advised there is no specifc time of the year and his age is not a problem.

Your son is still too young for circumcision as he has not reached the age of majority and can therefore not provide informed consent for this unnecessary cosmetic procedure.
Circumcision in the absence of a valid medical reason is a violation of his constitutional rights, as well as a violation of the Childrens Act.
Allow your son the benefit to and of an intact body and the right to self determination, and the right to make this highly personal decision for himself.
