My question to you is why is she on Zyrtec? Zyrtec is used to treat nasal allergy. Unless you are sure that your granddaughter has an allergic nasal condition Zyrtec will not help her. If she has been diagnosed as having allergic rhinitis then she can use Zyrtec. The correct dose of Zyrtec syrup for her is 5ml once daily in the evening.
